Sikandar is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The film was officially announced in December 2023 by producer Sajid Nadiadwala. It marks the first collaboration between A.R. Murugadoss and Salman Khan. The film is said to be a high-budget action thriller with international-level action sequences.

Filming[]

Principal photography began on 19 June 2024 in Mumbai. Some major action sequences were filmed in Hyderabad, including at the Taj Falaknuma Palace. The film includes large-scale action set pieces featuring trains, aircraft, and prison breakouts. Due to heavy monsoons, parts of the shoot were delayed but later resumed in November 2024.

Music[]

The film's soundtrack is composed by Pritam, while the background score is provided by Santhosh Narayanan. The music album is expected to feature a mix of action-packed themes and soulful melodies.

Marketing and Release[]

The first look of Sikandar was unveiled by Salman Khan in December 2024, featuring him in a rugged, intense avatar, holding a spear. The teaser and trailer are expected to release in early 2025.

The film is scheduled to be released on 28 March 2025, coinciding with Eid al-Fitr. It will have a theatrical release worldwide.
